Planning is the most important part because chances are, you will be living with your design for a long time.
We recommend that you re-seal your Timber every 6 -12 months, depending on it’s location, to prevent cupping & warping. If you are looking for a more ‘Weathered Look’, we recommend Balau, left unsealed, as your choice of timber.
Even after installation, we will be available for assistance in getting the very best out of your timber work.
We will advise you on simple maintenance ensuring that you can enjoy your completed project for years to come.
Choosing A Timber
Balau is a durable tropical hardwood.
It is brown to dark-brown in colour. It becomes grey/silver when left unsealed It has a fine & even texture.
Pine is a locally grown softwood.
It has a pale brown colour. It can be treated for better durability.
Composite Decking
It is a low maintenance option. It comes in a variety of colours & is installed with a clip system.
EasyClip Deck Fasteners
You also have the option to use the EasyClip System instead of screws to fasten the deck boards.
It allows for a smooth, screw-free deck surface. The EasyClip Fasteners are hidden between the boards, making them almost invisible.
